Essence of Emeril: "Empanadas." Emeril shows off his empanada creations. 8 a.m. ET, Food Network

Simply Ming: "Chile Oil; Sweet Potatoes." Ming first makes chile chicken with sweet potato tamale then goes to Miami and cooks with chef Michael Schwartz to make grilled sweet potatoes with celery salad, and toasted walnuts and chile oil vinaigrette. Back in the studio Ming makes sweet potato fries with chile aioli, and a spicy sweet potato and sausage frittata prepared in one skillet. (repeat) 4 p.m. ET, PBS

Lidia's Italy: "Bigoli Just for Me." Lidia serves a bowl of pasta with chicken livers and a limoncello tiramisu. She also visits the Veneto area of Italy where tiramisu was created. (repeat) 5:30 p.m. ET, PBS
