Come on in 'The Kitchn'
Each week we round up our favorite posts and recipes from our friends at The Kitchn.

This week, the Kitchn reassures us that freezing eggs is safe. When you have extra or they're on sale, just store them next to the popsicles and ice cube trays for a rainy day.
Also on the Kitchn, what to do with duck fat, Amish friendship bread, storage atop your fridge, and a lettuce-less winter salad.
- Good Question: What To Do With Duck Fat?: If you find yourself with a tub of quack-quack grizzle, and you're not grossed out, here are some uses.
- Amish Friendship Bread: Have You Ever Made It? What makes this sweetened bread (with a bit of sourdough tang) so unique is the cherished starter you add to the batter. The cup supposedly gets handed down from generations of Amish.
- Kitchen Organization: What's On Top of Your Fridge? It's some sought-after real estate. Do you have a clutter fest up there, or keep it clear?
- Recipe: Cauliflower, Fennel, and White Bean Winter Salad: A "salad" with fresh, lemony flavor made of crisp winter vegetables like cauliflower and fennel.

That egg is scary. I thought it was filled with lemon Jell-O, and thought that was kind of creative. Then I realized it was the actual egg. Whoa....
