Look Who's Talkin'"To Keep You Warm" Gift Idea
"Two things came to mind that I have received as gifts in the past that I really enjoyed. Both were things that I would not have purchased for myself." —vickiee

"Upscale" Mac n Cheese: Any Ideas?
"Use interesting shaped pasta, mix goat cheese and a dab of pesto into your cheese sauce base, serve individual portions in ramekins or mini-Le Cruesets set on saucers with a cloth or other underliner so the vessel doesn't slide around. Help Me Hollow Out Some Limes, Please!
"I agree with the grapefruit spoon. Another possible option is to put them in the freezer just enough to firm things up a bit—think about how it's easier to slice some softer cheeses or raw chicken into nice slices. That just might help you to scoop while retaining the integrity of the lime shell rinds. Just don't let them freeze too much. Hope it works. I'm stealing your idea by the way!" —dhorst

How Do You Latke?
"In my household, it's go traditional or go home. Potatoes, onions, salt, pepper, some potato starch, a little matzo meal, and an egg. Fry until tasty. I eat mine with both homemade applesauce and homemade cultured sour cream; the Other goes "oh! Hashbrowns!" and eats his with ketchup. Heathen. ;)" —jenilowrance
