Thanksgiving, the Only Reason You'd Make Cupcakes Resembling Turkeys

Cupcake Takes the Cake rounds up awesome Thanksgiving cupcakes and cakes, most of which resemble turkeys. I like the one above in particular for combining many cupcakes into one giant cake, besides that, it's adorable.

OK, either someone miscounted when making the cupcakes, or someone stole one - the one feather is missing its end!

That is super cute, though!

For some strange reason I suddenly want to go watch something on NBC.

I saw this photo on cakewrecks.blogspot.com. Check out the photos of other turkey-themed cakes. While you're at it, check out the whole site. It's good for a chuckle.

Why do people have to bastardize a cake and a cupcake at the same time...?
Like anyone needs or can comfortably ingest that much nasty shortening frosting.

Totally with the cakewrecks thing, even if it's cute.

I have to agree with LunaPierCook: the NBC peacock sprang to mind when I first looked at the picture but I like it anyway.

That is a lot o' frosting.

ha ha-i didn't even notice the one cupcake was missing til i read trillian's comment!

this completely amuses me and yet totally grosses me out ...and from the look on that trukey's face, it's also horrified.

Yep, that was my reaction too: it looks horrified. and I'mnotsurprised.

I immediately though "bung bong bung..." NBC logo anyone? :)
