Quote of the Day: An Oldie But Goodie

Quote of the Day"Turkey Day is my Olympics!" —Serious Eats community member JerzeeTomato, in a comment from last year that we just rediscovered today. Trotting it out again this year because, really, it's timeless.

I remember that!

Nothing cheapens Thanksgiving more than calling it "Turkey Day".

Did you get up on the wrong side of bed this morning, Don Luis? TURKEY DAY! Gobble, gobble! ;)

As the Serious Eats head curmudgeon, I felt it was my duty.

Jerzee's full of clever remarks, isn't he? LOL

Jerzee must be flattered.
It occurs to me that if Jerzee's real name were attached to that quote it would make for an amusing Google result.

This must have slipped by me. Thank you again Adam!
I do not feel that turkey cheapens the dday since I bought mine at Wegmans and it was 56.00. There was nothing cheap about it.
Cur your own mudgeon baby, huzzah!
