Blogwatch: Pinch My Salt's Sweet Potato Fries

You may still be on a Halloween sugar high, but there's one more sweet you've got to eat. Nicole of Pinch My Salt tosses her sweet potato slivers with garlic, salt, and fresh rosemary then roasts them before serving the "fries" with a buttermilk blue cheese dipping sauce. She touts her little sweets as a savory alternative for "those of us who aren’t a huge fan of sweet potato dishes that are overly sweet"—a viable option for Thanksgiving.

I love sweet potato fries. Less starchy than traditional fries and tons of flavor!

i like plain ol' mashed (from roasted) sweet potatoes with my T-Day meal, but wouldn't these make perfect appetizers? Especially with that blue cheese buttermilk dipping sauce. I'd have to make more to serve with the leftovers meals.

These sound amazing Nicole! I love sweet potato fries! In fact, I think I may have to make some later this week/weekend! :-)
