Blogwatch: Jumbo Empanadas's Shrimp-Topped Deviled Eggs

Halloween is over, but we still feel a bit devilish. So when blogger Brilynn of Jumbo Empanadas asks, "What's your favourite hors d'oeuvres or appetizer," we responded by Blogwatching her picturesque Shrimp-Topped Deviled Eggs. Retro-chic at its best and most delicious.

Besides deviled eggs, any other appetizers worth selling your soul for?

I participated in an hors d'oeuvres workshop last weekend and one of my favorites was medium rare beef filet on a toasted crostini with herbed compound butter. It was out of this world.

I love stuffed mushrooms and anything with crab, especially mushrooms!

Deviled eggs are the bomb, and so is shrimp cocktail. Putting them together? Not so much.

If I were just elected president, I would celebrate by eating pigs in blankets. They combine the beauty of a hot dog with the delicacy of puff-pastry. What's not to love? :-)

i'm with perky...i love deviled eggs and shrimp cocktail seperately, but don't know about the combination. also i couldn't agree more about stuffed mushrooms!
other favorites? my spinach ball and dipping sauce recipe has always been a hit and regardless of how others feel about grape jelly based sauces i will always love lil' smokies enrobed in it. :)

That looks a bit creepy, in an Alien kind of way. I'd be uncomfortable just sitting near them.
