Blogwatch: Herbed Popcorn
I like this idea—popping popcorn with herbs in the pot. I'm about to settle in for a long night of election results. What better than a nice big bowl of popcorn with an added twist? Passion for Eating, where the photo above comes from, has the instructions.

The Passion for Eating author cooked a batch of this fragrant popcorn when I visited her last week. It was delicious! I usually have to smother my popcorn with butter - not so when prepared this way!

Would this work with a microwave popcorn cooker? I don't mean those bags you put in the MW, but a gizmo that lets you use your own oil and popcorn. Do you think the herbs would burn before the popcorn pops?

I had never tried using herbs while making popcorn but it sounds like a great idea!
