The Best Brands of Turkey Bacon
San Francisco Chronicle tests 11 brands of turkey bacon to find the most pork-like version. Oscar Meyer's Louis Rich brand is deemed the best, with all others trailing far behind.

Turkey bacon is wretched. There are no good brands. Sorry.

Clogged arteries forced me to lay off regular bacon. Life without bacon for me is unimagineable, so I tried many substitutes. The Meijer store brand
when cooked crispy in a little peanut oil is hard to tell from real bacon.
Louis Rich gets third place rating from me.
Trader Joes is excellent & somewhat like Canadian bacon in texture.
I'll go with either of these 3 & I don't miss the real stuff a bit.
