In Videos: Creating a 'Font' From Food
The folks in the video here have created a "font" called EatStreet out of different foods. I put "font" in quotes because at least one of our readers cough, cough...Norman...cough will come here and tell us that this is not truly a "font" but lettering. The "font" is available, free, here.
Video, after the jump.

Norman would be right....as a graphic artist, I can add that a complete character set of a single size and style of a particular TYPEFACE. All that nitpicking aside, very cool idea!

Yes. Norman and I are Flickr friends and he has corrected me on at least one occasion there. I have been careful to make the distinction since.

Norman is right. We designers take fonts very seriously. This is not food related, but do you know there is even a documentary about helvetica - http://www.helveticafilm.com/. It's a pretty cool movie.
