Halloween Jell-O Molds

Photographs from Halloween Mart and Fire Box
I came across this brain Jello-O mold while searching for decorations for my Halloween party. It's pretty creepy looking, and I'm not sure I would eat it, but I bet it make a great centerpiece. If a human brain isn't your thing, consider a zombie brain, an anatomical heart, or a hand.

Jello is scary 'nuff without the mold!

I hate jello, but these molds are fantastic!
I will buy one just to have it on my table!! How fun!

You can use a latex (or whatever material you have around) disposable glove to make a hand shaped jello or ice.

I have the heart and brain mold and love them. Set the jello in a pool of raspberry coulis for a bloody yet tasty effect.
I don't usually use plain Jello, but instead do mousses, or essentially a fruity panna cotta or bavarian with extra gelatin and they come out just fine. Cream-based jello salads work well also. Great too for frozen custard/ice cream too if they are eaten quickly.
Gross-looking, but great for halloween or graduation medical students. :)
