Design*Sponge's Guide to Modern Flatware
Blogger Grace Bonney puts together an overview of more than two dozen modern flatware sets. With sets ranging from $13 Ikea cutlery to thousand-dollar wallet punishers, there should be ideas in there for anyone in the market for some new knives, forks, and spoons. Worth a look if you need some new or extra flatware for Thanksgiving. [via The Food Section]

I love love love flatware. I have 4 sets, and if I had room I'd get more.
Other people collect dinnerware, some different table linens. But I just change out the flatware.

I saw a set 10+ years ago at a Z Gallerie store. Have searched for them ever since, but they may not exist anymore. They were in pretty poor taste, but I loved them.
They resembled the twig design silverware, but instead of twigs, the design was bones. Appropriate for Halloween and cannibal guests.
Has anyone ever seen these?

I love my old, bone-handled cutlery. Actually, it's pretend bone, but I love it and get it from thrift shops as and when I need it. Reminds me of my Grandma's cutlery. Hers really was bone, though!
