In Videos: Axe Body Spray Chocolate Man
SE reader FastFoodCritic tipped us off to this commercial for Axe Body Spray, featuring the line: "As irresistible as chocolate, New Axe Dark Temptation." Desperate women chomp pieces off Chocolate Man's ears, arms, hands, and butt. If I actually saw this guy in person, I'd definitely run the other way, even if he was made of Guittard 72% Cacao. Instead, he'll just be invading my nightmares--especially the image of him with his hand melting down as he makes hot chocolate.

Axe must have gotten a new ad agency, this commercial made me laugh instead of the usual reaction they get from me: a quick muting/switching of the channel.

This commercial is stupid.
The image and thought of sitting next to a man on the bus or subway who smells like chocolate cologne would create a complete turn-off.

We call it Lynx over here in the UK, smells dreadful - the ad IS creepy and disturbing but not in a "racial undertone" kind of way! Crikey, some people can obviously find racial undertones in anything!

Axe Dark Temptation came out with a sweepstakes + a cool game : You are the chocolate man and you have to dodge women in order to get to the end as intact as possible... Pretty cool!!
