Slideshow of Food in Video Games

Gourmet.com put together this nifty slideshow of food in video games over the past 30 years. In 1980, a food-related game meant controlling Pac-Man as he ate his way around a maze—today, a video game can teach you how to cook lasagna.

I seriously had like an hour-long talk about Burgertime the other night at the bar. I love that game, although it does break my heart to bring harm to pickles and franks.

I loved, but sucked at, Food Fight. It always made me laugh.

Cooking Mama is cute, but I can't wait to see Personal Trainer: Cooking. There was an article on SE about that. I would buy a DS just for that.

I never played much Food Fight - the local Celebration Station is the only place around here that I remember having it, and I was always too busy playing Tempest when I went there.
