If you happen to be up early on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET, check out Alex Guarnaschelli's show The Cooking Loft on the Food Network. I watched this for the first time last Saturday and it was worth waking up for. When she spoke at the New York Culinary Experience, she won me over with her sense of humor and food-centric childhood memories, which both shine through on-camera.

Also, the final episode of Alton Brown's four-part mini-series Feasting on Waves airs Sunday night on the Food Network at 10 p.m. ET.
