Lisa Garza May Get Her Own CBS Show
She didn't win The Next Food Network Star, hence no Food Network show, but she may have something lined up with CBS. That was the rumor at an Abi Ferrin Fashion Week show this week, according to Food Network Addict. At this point, Garza can't say much about joining the land of Letterman, CSI, and The Price is Right!

Good for her. I thought she should have won. Let's hope she has a wildly successful show and those morons at FN learn something from it.

I hope she learns how to smile without making her eyes disappear...and to ease up on the pretentiousness a wee bit.

She's better off as far away from the Food Network as possible.
Good for her! Anyone else think she could be the next Martha Stewart?

my husband and I used to watch her and call her "anime chick." She just has this look that reminds us of anime cartoons with the hair and the facial expressions.
With that said I'm glad she got something out of this, I still think Aaron sucks and his show is unwatchable.

Does anyone remember Nathan Lyon a former, "Who Wants To Be The Next FN Star" contestant?
He lost to the bloviating, minor league, Guy Fieri several seasons back.
Well, The Discovery Network recognized Lyon's talent while FN was falling all over itself giving the win to that bleach-bottle blond, "nobody" gets the sunglass shtick, Mr. Guy.
(We getttt how cool you are Mr.F.)
"A Lyon In The Kitchen " is actually quite good!
It is understated, sophisticated, intelligent with well executed recipes.
That Lisa Garza, the obvious talent, lost the competition has nothing to do with a lack of talent but, FN's continuing stupidity.
It was clear, not too far into that competition, that Lisa was being "kept around" and that, "Big Daddy Whatever" was going to win.
I was counting the days until Ms. Garza would be grabbed up for her own show.
"That" was a no brainer.
I'm surprised it took this long.
Lisa Garza will be around long after "Mr. B. Daddy" fades away.
Good Luck Lisa!!!
You deserve it!

Commenting on a blog at FoodNetworkAddict.com, I think the combination of Sandra Lee and Lisa Garza on a cooking show would be nothing short of phenomenal !!! Pairing the Semi Sweet Hottie with the Semi Bitch Diva would be unbeatable !!! And, it could even give Lisa her dream of hosting a "back to basics" cooking program. I know Ina Garten has already claimed that format, but as long as she continues to use things like truffle oil and champagne vinegar, her premise is bogus !!! And, anyone who doubts Lisa's and Sandra's cooking crededntials also thinks that Mickey D's is the perfect evening out ?!
Rock On Lisa !!!
