Be careful the next time you eat a piece of fruit and want to reproduce its tissue; it might come with its own End User License Agreement:
The recipient of the produce contained in this package agrees not to propagate or reproduce any portion of the produce, including (but not limited to) seeds, stems, tissue and fruit.

I hope everyone who sees this is truly alarmed! I say we all plant the seeds! Better yet - I say we let those grapes rot on the shelves!

I can just see this conversation in a jail cell:
"So, what are you in for?"
"I planted some grapes."
"Man! All I did was rip the tag off the mattress."

You wouldn't go to jail. It would be more like a civil suit -- like when Monsanto sued neighboring farmers for growing their GMO canola by accident. Article">http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Goliath_and_David:_Monsanto%27s_Legal_Battles_against_Farmers">Article

What if you eat the grapes and then happen to poop outside?
scaevola at 5:49PM on 09/17/08
....Johnny Grapeseed-pooper.

@scaevola LOL.
Seriously, this EULA is terrible.
Jen Maiser at 7:20PM on 09/17/08
Software shrink-wrap EULAs have been ruled invalid. I wonder if you could do the same with these grapes because you have to "agree" to the EULA before you get a taste ...

@ scaevola - they're seedless grapes. So if you poop outside, all you're in for is public defecation.

This all the fault of the chillieans. They had to export their grapes. Next thing you know knock off tomatoes. Will it ever end?
