Oh, I do I do I do love German wines and think it fun to read the label. I was disappointed when I learned that the German winemakers were bowing to marketing pressures by developing dry (trocken) wines to appeal to the chardonnay swillers. I still fondly recall the '76 Rheingau vintage. My brother-in-law and I drank every one we could get our hands on.
