Coke Zero Zero 7, New James Bond Packaging

To promote the latest Bond film, The Quantum of Solace (out mid-November in the States), Coca-Cola and Sony Entertainment shook hands on this numerically-convenient special edition Coke Zero Zero 7 bottle. The bottles will roll out next month, but only in the UK. According to the Coca-Cola brand director across the pond, the edginess of the Bond persona matches that of the Coke Zero identity. The core audience is 20-something men who dream of wearing more tuxedos and carrying a license to kill card. [via The Dieline]

James Bond is not lame enough to drink Coke Zero. Not that there's anything wrong with Coke Zero, just that Bond James Bond is too cool for anything other than martinis.

Cool packaging, tho.

My hubby is going to be so disappointed that they aren't selling these in the US.

Does the UK recipe use HFCS?

Coke Zero doesn't have sugar or HFCS, its got a couple of artificial sweeteners in it. The Zero is "zero sugar" and "zero calories."

To me, it tastes much better than Diet Coke but not as good as regular Coke Classic. It was, however, a happy thing to discover when I was on a medication for a while that wreaked havoc with my blood sugar levels and sugary drinks were a total no-go.

It is a very cool bottle.

I am a freak about Bond like I'm a freak about food, so this is a very exciting post for me!

Even though I only drink regular Coke, I'd still get one for prosperity.
(If only they sold them stateside, sigh.)

The bottle design is awesome, but it'd be even better if the picture was of Daniel Craig with his shirt off. rowl...
