British Pomegranate Juice Gets Your Juices Flowing
Pomegreat advertisement from Chimp Media Monitoring
If you want to be sexy, you have to take care of your body. And you know what that means—scatter a truckload of pomegranates around your bed and eat them, all the time. While naked. If you can't do that, the next best thing is to drink buckets of pomegranate juice made by Pomegreat. Because "Sex kittens don't drink milk," and Pomegreat will "Get the juices flowing."
...What? I was going to drink pomegranate juice because I was thirsty. I think I'll stick with water. [via Chimp Media Monitoring

Right. This ad might appeal to the ascot-wearing English male septuagenarian. Not me!

Exactly who does this ad target? Is anyone really going to go "OH! I'm a sex kitten! This drink is for me!"

Do the Brits use the term "sex kitten"? Sounds very Austin Powers.

Exactly LOL.
I think that those who care about their health and antioxidant intake would be too intelligent to appeal to this ad. Green tea it is!

Serious Eats word of the day: "septuagenarian"
(Noun) -- A person who is 70 years old or between the ages of 70 and 80.
(Adjective) -- Being 70 years old or between the ages of 70 and 80.
[From Latin septuāgēnārius, of the number seventy, from septuāgēnī, seventy each, from septuāgintā, seventy]

Someone at this ad agency thought, "I know there must be a subtle way to do this, but -- nah."

I'm kind of a perv, but I'm okay with this ad. Also, I discovered that too much pomegranate juice will make your mouth feel dry from all the tannins or antioxidants or whatever. But it's still pretty delicious. Although I like fresh arils the best and OMG they're almost in season!!!!

This actually makes sense considering how many pomegranate juice ads show up in my spam box.

@FastFoodCritic: LOL. All this flack for that word makes me want to use even more ridiculous words. Need to get me some Mad Libs!
