Breadvertising

That's just what I want to see before I make a sandwich: an ad for cell phone service. Next, I expect ads to be printed directly onto the bread. [via copyranter]

You'd think they'd advertise some more relevant or contextual, like peanut butter and jelly. Or something that would go onto said bread.

Actually, I've seen similar for a while. Some bakeries up here have been putting college football ticket info on bags for at least a few years.

Isn't there a new bread-toasting machine that can toast any message you want onto your sandwich? I'm pretty sure I saw it either here or at thekitchn.
I keep thinking that I'll open a fortune cookie one day and get an ad fortune.

I can envision it. One day, not too far in the future, I'll look down at my breakfast and see, "This toast brought to you by...."
