I am wondering what might happen with the Canadian stores - has anyone heard? Our Starbucks JUST opened not three weeks ago!

Raphael - I heard that when Aussie baristas steam their milk, it spins counter-clockwise. :-)
Maureen - I haven't heard any news of Cdn closures ... and I'm hoping my new nabe gets a Sbux soon (it's a long shot).

I always wondered how Starbucks survived in Oz given that every hole-in-the-wall cafe and petrol station has a full-sized commercial Italian espresso machine, and the teenagers working there could make a better drink than most coffee places (corporate or not) in the States.
