Recommended shows: In his blog, Anthony Bourdain describes tonight's episode of No Reservations: "A seemingly straightforward scene at 'Espinaler' near Barcelona, where we crack open some cans of mussels, cockles and razor clams will cause, I’m quite certain, heads to explode across the internet, leaving only smoldering stumps." With a claim like that, this episode where Tony is in Spain should be worth checking out. He also also blogs about the editing of this episode. Monday, 10 p.m. ET, Travel Channel

Monday (August 18)

The Biggest Chinese Restaurant in the World: "Family Duties." This third episode (of four) focuses on filial piety. Owner Qin Linzi reflects on her relationship with her father and working in a quarry when she was 12-years old. Also a family holds a longevity banquet to honor their mother's 70th birthday. 9 p.m. ET, Sundance Channel

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations: "Spain." Albert Adria and the intense local culinary traditions of Spain. 10 p.m. ET, Travel Channel

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (warning: a video plays automatically on site): "Totally Unexpected." Guy discovers some great food at unexpected places around the United States including a bowling alley, a car wash, laundromat, and grocery store. 10 p.m. ET, Food Network

Tuesday (August 19)

Road Tasted With the Neelys: "Tasty Research in Raleigh." The Neelys are in Raleigh, North Carolina where they have Carolina barbecue, dark chocolate julep truffle, and giant gummy bears. 9:30 p.m. ET, Food Network

Wednesday (August 20)

Dinner: Impossible (warning: a video plays automatically on site): "Escape to Alcatraz." Chef Michael Symon heads to "The Rock" to cook for 125 guests. He'll have to deal with a kitchen that's far away and a restricted schedule. 10 p.m. ET, Food Network

Friday (August 22)

Good Morning America: Chef Scott Conant is on. 7 a.m. ET, NBC

Gordon: These posts are great. You do an amazing job ferreting out all the great food stuff to watch. I don't know if we ever stop to tell you that during the hectic days here in the office, but these are great and a true service to the readers and food (TV) lovers out there.
