As far as "The Biggest Chinese Restaurant in the World" - I tuned in last week, and wanted to like it. Cast of thousands, earnest young Chinese cooks taking criticism from obsessive boss, smiling young waitresses ditto, festive families eating out, dancers, hoopla.... But then they had the killing-ducks-by-yanking-their-hearts-out part, and the frying-live-fish-so-they-still-wiggled-when-you-ate-them bit, and the chopping-up-live-snakes dish. I just couldn't take it.
