Domino's Pizza to Unveil Submarine Sandwich Menu

Domino's Pizza is introducing baked submarine sandwiches, available for $4.99 nationwide starting August 25, with flavors like Chicken Bacon Ranch, Chicken Parmesan, and Philly Cheesesteak. How weird will it be to order delivery from Domino's, but it doesn't have to be pizza. Hopefully they'll have the special insulated holders, but sandwich-shaped, for prime preservation during travel. I vaguely remember ordering sandwiches from Domino's in the mid-90's.

Subway sells pizza now. Sounds like pizza chains are retaliating!

Yuck! I noticed Pizza Hut sells "Tuscany" pastas, according to a large sign outside of a Pizza Hut I pass on my way to work. The pizzas themselves are barely edible and end up making me feel bleh (hubby has to have his fix once in a while though!) -- so how could those sandwiches and pastas fare?

I actually like Dominos for what it is, but those sandwiches do not look that good.

I'm sure they'll find a way to burn every inch of the cheese on these sandwiches, as well. Grossssss Dominos.

The bread looks bland as hell. Hey, reminds me of their pizza!

guess you have to get em in Texas. I ordered two during our stay last night at the Hyatt in Austin. It was made just like a great hot sandi should be!. Toasted bun ( not burned) wrapped in a special hot pack ( had to let it cool a bit when it got to our room---delivery was less than20 minutes from call. We had the Philly and wife had different. I'll do this again in a heartbeat!!

These sandwiches were great! A few of us ordered and sampled each one, and they were all great, the best is between the chicken club and the steak...it was surprising!

If these subs are anything like the philly steak I just got ripped off for then it will look like a heavy crust...too much cheese and a hint of the so called steak and 3 sliced mushrooms with a super thin slice or 4 of the green bell pepper looking stuff
