What's Better than Tom Selleck? A Tom Selleck Cake!

20080711-tom-selleck-cake.jpg

Not sure what type of birthday cake to get the Tom Selleck fan in your life? And you're fine with staring at multiple photos of him shirtless for the cause? Blogger Alicia of Alicia Poicia realized that only this gooey chocolate toffee cake could rival Selleck himself. And only chocolate sprinkles could rival actual chest hair. (The pink flowers were also a nice touch.)

"I have never made a cake that was so well received and complimented...and my friend truly did have and happy (and hairy) birthday." Emma is one lucky lady. [via Craftzine]

man that chest hair is disturbing...haha.

Its funny how things change. I remember in 7th grade my English teacher had a pin up of Tom Selleck shirtless with his jeans partially unbuttoned hanging on the classroom wall. We just thought it was funny. Today she'd probably lose her job.

Oh my goodness. That's amazing!

Never got the Tom Selleck thing at all... but the cake is wonderful, disturbing, and disturbingly wonderful, nonetheless.

Now, if it were a George Clooney cake... *sigh*

@Brownie - I totally get the Tom Selleck thing, but a hairy cake? Even with George Clooney? I dunno. I do think it's kinda cool that hot guys today are pretty much hairless. Now, females aren't the only ones who have to wax. Retribution is sweet, no matter how long it takes! haha

Seriously though, very cool Hairy Birthday cake!

My next birthday cake.

That is both funny and amazing. The decorator captured the heavy-browed, brooding stare...and chest hair. Wow.

the likeness is truly amazing

Oh good lord. This is the Best. Cake. Ever.

bobbob: my 10th grade teacher had that poster too...and that's the first thing i thought of when i saw this picture....

i want an alan rickman cake {circa truly madly deeply, NOT harry potter} please, for my birthday.

that is to die for! what a talented artist!

Now that's a true friend!
