Saturday (July 12)

Jamie at Home: "Summer Salad." Jamie uses leaves from his garden for a roasted peach and bresaola salad with feta and a yogurt dressing. He also uses a wood oven to make a rustic Caesar salad. 9:30 a.m. ET, Food Network

Grill It! With Bobby Flay: "Chicken Breast." It's a feast of grilled chicken with chicken quesadillas, surf 'n' turf flank steak, and prawns with grilled Romaine. Secrets of a Restaurant Chef (warning, a video plays automatically on site): "The Secret to Roasted Chicken." Anne shows her two-temperature technique for perfectly roasted chicken. She'll also cook fluffy mashed potatoes and make a beet salad. 9:30 a.m. ET, Food Network

Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie: "Drinks: The Golden Age of Spirits." Mixology and cocktail artists, Keralan coconut climbers that make fresh liquor from the sap of a coconut tree, the first and only micro-distillery in New York, and making a multi-layered Pousse-Café. 4 p.m. ET, PBS

Everyday Baking From Everyday Food: "Easy Elegant Tarts." John is making a blueberry tart, rustic nectarine tart, pear tart, and a key lime tart. 4:30 p.m. ET, PBS

America's Test Kitchen From Cook's Illustrated: "Asian Take-Out at Home." They'll be using supermarket ingredients to make Thai-styled chicken soup and stir-fried portabellas with ginger-oyster sauce. Also covered in this episode, soy sauce and ladles. 5 p.m. ET, PBS

Lidia's Italy: "Stack Those Cannoli." Lidia makes fettuccine and swordfish, and a cannoli napoleon. 5:30 p.m. ET, PBS

Sara's Weeknight Meals: "The Substantial Sandwich." Pressed, smoked salmon sandwich, a turket reuben, fried clam sandwich, and Middle Eastern meatball sandwiches. (repeat) 6 p.m. ET, PBS

The Next Food Network Star: "Vegas Throwdown." In Las Vegas, the final four are put in a throwdown style competition where they make the ultimate versions of their own and competitor's signature dishes. 10 p.m. ET, Food Network
