Photo of the Day: Flaming Marshmallows
There's something beautiful about a marshmallow on fire. This photo of a flaming marshmallow by Mike of Another Pint Please reminds me of the first time I roasted marshmallows in a bonfire in 6th grade—they came out looking like charcoal and tasting only mildly better. Mike's marshmallows look like they've endured just the right amount of toastiness.

Ahhh, the memories. I don't like them, and eat just one to make sure. I love to cook them over the open flame, get them golden brown and give them away.

There are few things I enjoy more than blowing out the flames off the top a toasting marshmallow, sucking off the crusty, browned outside and then burning my mouth on the creamy, gooey inside. Aaaaaah the memories!
