Interview with Christina Machamer, Winner of Hell's Kitchen
Eater LA interviews Christina Machamer, and she reveals that her official title at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant is senior chef—not the promised executive chef: "Do I know what it takes to be an exec chef? Yes. Do I have it yet? No. For me, being where I am, I know it's not the right position for me."

not impressed... cooking shows like this are an embarrassment primarily because they take people will little experience unlike Top Chef or The Next Iron Chef where the chef's have proven records. Then again, the title, "Executive Chef" is really meaningless when it comes to Gordon's LA restaurant. It's not REALLY an Executive Chef, per se.

Hm well I am.
It's a great opportunity for someone like Christina with initiative to get her foot in the door, though the calibor (you're right) isn't REALLY an exectutive chef.

I think that she did a very good job on "Hell's Kitchen". So what I think is that you should leave her alone. She is a very good Executive Chef. Christina is a very good at what she does!!!!
