David Lynch's Organic Coffee
Morning, serious eaters! We hope you're drinking some "damn good" black coffee—and hot, too—just the way Agent Dale Cooper liked it on the television series Twin Peaks. "As black as midnight on a moonless night." The show's creator and cult filmmaker David Lynch wants you to "give yourself the present" of black coffee everyday, so he created his very own brand of organic beans.
Eight-ounce canisters are available for $18.53. After the jump, watch a bonus video of the Twin Peaks characters loving black coffee. [via Metafilter]

18 bones for 8 ounces of coffee.
I can get fresh roasted Kona for less than that.

Hell, I can get blue mountain coffee for just under that...

I don't think I'd buy this for myself, but I know a few black coffee/ Lynch noir fans with birthdays coming up.
I'm actually very curious to taste the coffee David Lynch would put his name to.

it's two 8oz canisters, but still not cheap.

Oh, two cans. Duh, I didn't clickie since I was at work, so I thought it was for 8 oz. Well, in that case, it's fairly inexpensive. Although I can still get pure Kona coffee beans for $12 / 12 oz bag.
...so curious...

i just started an organic coffee business in my beautiful costa rica, (www.costaricaorganicoffee.com ) and once i contacted the farmers i noticed why the price is a little high compares with non-organic coffee. the process is so hard for them, taking in account his friends are making more more, and having less troubles because they use chemicals, and pesticides. the organic farmer, should wait more time to see the products. Some times we need to consider this when we choose organic, the costs are higher and the risks are higher, so, if you choose organic maybe you are helping poor people to live better, more birds will be flying around the trees, and water will be cleanest!!!...
