An Open Challenge to Food Blogs on 'Major League Eating: The Game'
Major League Eating: The Game is out! And we're making an open call, a challenge to other food blogs out there—we're looking specifically at group endeavors like you, Grub Street, Eater (and your regional variants), Slashfood, and The Kitchn. We dare you to throw down against the virtual eating skills of the Serious Eats crew, so bring it! Your place or ours—or even online. Stick a fork in it—you're done!
Lack of response will be seen as cession of the Scarf Scepter to us.

Ok that's it I'm going to have to cave and buy a virtual game. I haven't done so in the year+ I've had the Wii but now I shall. I can't resist a good competition - name the time and place and I'll BRING IT! Oh baby, it's been buh-rought!

I downloaded the game last night on my Wii. It was ok. It's pretty crude...there's a lot of burping and farting goin on. I only got thru the first challenge (I think we were eating hamburgers? maybe baked potatoes?). I couldn't beat the burrito king in the second challenge. I DID always win the burp-off, though. :) Anyway, it's an ok game. I doubt I'll spend a ton of time on it. I'm only a single blogger, but I'll challenge you guys!

I'm an avid eater however, I'm not a food blogger. I WILL add a food post to my blog if it will help me get in on this. I have the game and would love to play it with some real live people online.
