If Stephanie leaves before she does, I'm going to hit my TV. No really, I'm serious. She is a negative, sycophantic twit who deserved to go home weeks ago. I even hate her when she does something good, like those bacon strips! She was SO whiny about them. Ick. If the best she can come up with is that everyone who blogs is a poor, culinarily-challenged, unoriginal person, she deserves everything they say about her.

I'd like to know where she works so that I never eat there.

The Daily News article incorrectly states that she's chef de cuisine at Mai House - that's Spike's job (or at least it used to be).

I can't believe she said that.....seems like her version of "look at me, I'm so popular." She must be stuck in an entirely different universe.

@charm, I'd like to know where she works too, maybe a group of us can show up and complain about the food...with pursed lips and angry stances.

(I did read this a few weeks ago about Spike leaving Mai House to open a burger joint in DC and that Lisa would replace him, but that rumor was denied...apparently it's true!)

lisa is working at the mai house and spike is in the process of opening a burger joint. however i read that she applied for the job before the show started so it is a coincidence. too bad though bc no one wants to eat her food but i'm sure they would have eaten spikes.

Although she has demonstrated that she has SOME talent, and I'm sure her attitude might work in SOME kitchens, and while her involvement on Top Chef has given us SOME enjoyment via "the-one-we-love-to-hate", I really have had enough of Lisa. I think Richard said it best -- "she brings a gray cloud to the kitchen, and that's not an environment I want to work in".

Keep reaching for the negative Lisa -- that's exactly what you'll get.

I am sure her comments made her boss happy.

Hope she one day realizes that food bloggers ARE customers (they are more likely to spend more money on a good meal, and know alot about food), further more, their opinons do influence other people.

In her case, it's not only bloggers who dislike her, it's 91% of people who watch Top Chef. Granted, not all of them live in NYC (but I am sure plenty do visit), but those who do probably wouldn't recommend it to friends, or select it for personal or business dining...that is a whole lot of bridges to burn.

Not even the best chefs in the world could afford to insult potential customers like that. And she is NOT remotely close.

Well, I CAN afford to eat where she works and I still hate her. Also-I'm a chef myself and can't stand her attitude. She doesn't have the skills to be where she is and next week will prove it.

And, it's true she's not pretty-but it's her personality that makes her the ugliest person I've seen in a while.

Her lack of intelligence is clearly illustrated by the childish retort re: the socioeconomics of bloggers/commenters. Had she any common sense, she would know that the readers of most foodie blogs could buy and sell her -expletive- on a daily basis. But hey, at least she didn't refer to us all as dwellers of our mother's basements, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.

Every time she stands before the judges at judges' table with her arms crossed and the look on her face that just screams, "You don't know what you're talking about when it comes to MY food!" Her inability to accept criticism had already completely turned me off of her. This comment of hers only sealed the deal.

The previous post was not meant to offend Lesbians or Ugly People. It's 2 a.m. here on a Friday night, Sat morning, and I've had several glasses of wine.

While I agree that what she said was illogical and untrue "people who can't even afford to eat in my restaurant, let alone know how to cook have to say about me". She probably hasn't been shown or edited in the best light. A lot of anonymous commenters feel justified at taking personal swipes at her appearance and her sexual orientation (which should have no bearing). It's unfortunate that she will miss the most important thing that this opportunity may have afforded her...the opportunity to learn from her mistakes and grow as a chef and a person. If she spends any of her time retaliating to awful below-the-apron comments I think she will just continue on in life with arms crossed and lips pursed like she did at judges' table.That leaves a bitter aftertaste.

i'm looking forward to seeing Richard or Stephanie win, they're both nice and quiet, similar to previous winners like Harold, Ilan and Hung to a lesser degree - but none of them were ever annoyingly harsh (well maybe Ilan towards Marcel)

To make her less painful to watch next week, I hope Lisa wears clothes that actually fit, and no tank top please!

She's like a monkfish stuffed with durian. Horrible on both the inside and the outside. Next time I have dinner at Per Se or Citronelle, I'll raise a glass to toast being so poor I can't afford to eat at her stupid restaurant, and instead have to cash in my poor, blooger food stamps at other establishments. What a stupid bitch.
