Photo of the Day: 'This Card Entitles You To The Best Service'
If you frequently visit Esparks Coffee, maybe you should get a V.I.P Membership Card. Not only does the card save you 10% on your purchase, it also "Entitles You To The Best Service." Don't settle for mediocre service; you deserve the best! But only if you have the card.
For a fun activity (and preferably if you have absolutely nothing else to do), gather some of your friends and try to recite the poster's words in a way that best reflects the variety of typefaces, colors, and use of caps. Mine would go something like this:
JOIN US NOW [loud, confident]
For the best service [less loud]
WE HAVE A [still loud, less confident]
VEE EYE PEE MEMBESHIP CARD [robotic, monotone voice]
thiscardentitlesyoutothebestservice [quickly in one breath]
PLEASE SIGN UP NOW [loud and confident]
Reserve [normal volume, calm]
[pause]
Ten percent [normal volume, bored]
On your total purchase. [normal volume, calm]
That's how it sounded in my head, at least.

Good Lord, someone has schizophrenia when it comes to picking out fonts. I'm happy that Comic Sans didn't make the cut. That give me some hope for the person that created that sign.

Or maybe the best service is "now," as in "Join us now for the best service"...because the service later will be really bad.
Either way, it sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
