PBS's animated television show WordGirl follows the adventures of superheroine WordGirl and her monkey sidekick Captain Huggy Face as they battle evil, word-challenged villains while simultaneously teaching new vocabulary to their young viewers. Two of these evil villains, the Butcher and Chuck the Evil Sandwich Making Guy, use arsenals of food products as their weapons.

After the jump, watch select episodes of WordGirl where the Butcher shoot mountains of meat out of his hands (with battle cries including "Sausage cyclone!" and "Pot roast attack!") and Chuck the Evil Sandwich Making Guy squirt honey mustard onto his opponents. (And if the prospect of flying pot roast and vocabulary lessons aren't intriguing enough, one of the episodes features a very, brain-meltingly cute kitten. Surely you'd want to see that.)

WordGirl: High Fat Robbery

The Butcher robs a bank and a jewelry shop by distracting the employees with free barbecue.

As the Butcher attempts to rob a vegetarian restaurant, not knowing that his free barbecue won't entice the customers, his meat-shooting powers are brought down by blocks of tofu. (Fast forward to 3:20.)

The Butcher: Hey, did you know these people here don’t eat meat?
WordGirl: Yes, That’s what vegetarian means.
The Butcher: That’s sick.

WordGirl: Meat With A Side of Cute

The Butcher uses his new sidekick, a stray kitten named Little Mittens, to distract people with its unbearable cuteness as the Butcher robs a bank.

Little Mittens continues doing cute things. The Butcher attacks WordGirl with pork chops, salami, mutton, and a hamalanche.

WordGirl: Chuck!

Chuck the Evil Sandwich Making Guy robs a gold store and a used car dealership by covering the owners in condiments.

Chuck the Evil Sandwich Making Guy attempts to a grocery store of all its bread. He almost defeats WordGirl with his Evil Breadmaker of Doom, but they manage to break through the bread's wall with Captain Huggy Face's awesome burping power.
