Jamie Oliver Calls for a Ban on Sex to Get Men Cooking
The UK Times reports that Jamie Oliver, while making a Channel 4 series in the town of Rotherham, England, said he was shocked by how few men can cook. He suggested that women should refrain from sex with their husbands or boyfriends to punish them if they refuse to cook: “Men are driven by sex... So the best way for women to get their men into the kitchen would be to stop having sex with them until they start to cook.”

Puh-leeeeze. "Sex as a weapon" has been greatly over-used by a lot of angry women over the past couple decades. Just Google the phrase and watch what pops up. At this rate, we're lucky a next generation even exists.
Of course, compassion in the kitchen for beginners would be better, with none of the, "Gawd, this tastes like crap" that some men have to tolerate ... and a certain level of "hands-on training" might even make learning to cook a whole lot of fun for both sides.
Bottom line: Threats in a relationship are the worst possible idea.

obviously jamie oliver's wife keeps him in line that way, so he knows just how effective it is.

He couldn't have been like . . . kidding, could he have been?
If so, the results were pretty good.
One brash remark made followed by lots of other commentary on many other things, all reported in the newspaper to people with hungry ears. :)
Chinka chinka. Two points for Jamie!
(I'm not seriously worried about his sex life nor that he'll affect anyone elses, but who knows. Everyone just might hop to and wear banners: "Jamie says NO. You must COOK FOR ME FIRST.")
