It used to seem like Emeril was on each and every time I tuned into the Food Network and I came to resent him. At the same time it seems like he was one of the reasons for getting the network off the ground in terms of creating buzz and now they have turned their collective backs on him. It seems to me that TFN is a rudderles ship that is being guided by persons who really don't care about food as much as they do about creating promotable events. They are truly selling the sizzle before the steak.

I don't care much for Emeril Live, but I love The Essence of Emeril and that seems to have disappeared. I learned so much from him and there was no yelling and music and hype. I want it back. PLEASE! There is so much fluff and nonsense on FN. I don't get Fine Living on my cable plan. Bye Emeril - I will definitely miss you!
