The Tastiest Streets in the U.S.
Good magazine rounds up a list of the seven most delicious stretches of pavement in the United States. And they're all cheap eats. Making the cut are:
- Roosevelt Avenue, Queens, New York
- Travis Street, Houston
- Fremont Avenue North, Seattle
- Broadway, Chicago
- Southwest 8th Street, Miami
- Nolensville Road, Nashville
- West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles
Did your favorite eats street get snubbed?

North High Street, Columbus, Ohio in the area of Ohio State University
North University, Ann Arbor, similar to the above but at UofM
North Main Street, Frankenmuth, Michgan, "Michigan's Little Bavaria"
Figueroa St., Los Angeles, north of the Staples Center ("The Pantry"!)
South Michigan Ave., Chicago, aka "Miracle Mile"

I'd add Devon Avenue in Chicago.

Main Avenue, Durango, CO.
Seasons Grill, Les Rendezvous French Bakery, Carvers Bakery (best breakfast in D'go) and others. (Unfortunately, Seasons and Les R burned down but they were worth a mention in case they reopen.)
Dodecanese Boulevard, Tarpon Springs, FL.
Every imaginable Greek delicacy.
It wasn't in the top mentions above but I'm going to check out the article. How could Mott Street, NYC be left off?? And not make the top 5??

For tastiness-per-yard, the twelve blocks of State Street, Santa Barbara starting from the beach.

@tech9803, I totally forgot about that one! Damn, that there's some great stuff, too. ;-)

Fremont Ave North? REALLY? Jai Thai and Blue C are kind of... meh.
That is one of the least tastiest streets in town! University Way NE, NW Market Street, and any street in the International District... all better food streets. And those are just for cheaper eats....

Valencia St., San Francisco - seriously, how is San Francisco on no one's list? What is that?!

NYC number one, Houston number two, that's refreshing.
Although I probably would have gone for Bellaire Blvd., Houston, myself.

Yeah, the praise for Fremont seemed to exist simply to praise Paseo. Don't get me wrong, Paseo deserves the love, but Fremont isn't even close to the tastiest street in Seattle. My vote would probably go to 1st Ave, or even Pike Pl.
Buford Hwy in Atlanta is probably the tastiest street I've ever visited personally.

Tremont Street in Boston's South End - Hamersley's Bistro, The Butcher Shop, B & G Oyster, Pops, Picco, Garden of Eden, Sibling Rivalry, Tremont 647

A bizarre list in a host of ways. Seems to me, by the time you'd named the first seven, you might not even have left NYC yet. From there it's not awfully likely your next target would be, uh, Houston. As for Seattle's Fremont Ave. (which I can see from my house), anyone who'd include it on this list just ain't been around much.

Yeah Roosevelt Ave.!
Sorry, felt the need to insert the obligatory NY arrogance. In all seriousness, it's definitely deserving of the mention, but Mott Street should be on there as well; I haven't been to most of the others mentioned in the comments, but I've heard amazing things about Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Yay! Nolensville Road! The only thing that would have made it better would be mentioning the international market and all the excellent taco stands.

Eat Street in Minneapolis. I'm there at least once a week.
