Houston Pupusa Truck: 'Just Look for the Funky Chicken'
Houston Press food critic Robb Walsh discovers a pupusa truck at South Post Oak Road and Tidewater Drive (map): "A Salvadorean lady named Elisa churns out pupusas at an amazing clip. I watched her make a dozen in five minutes."
The cool graphics on the truck (including what what Walsh calls a "funky chicken") are almost worth the price of ignition alone.

How is it that I had never heard of pupusas? I'm intrigued, and after reading this I did a little research and it looks like something I will have to try. It also works because I've been looking to make simple recipes with my Spanish students. I'm sure it takes some practice, but I think it will be fun to do a pupusa-making day!

OH MY GOD I LOVE PUPUSAS.
I wish we had a pupusa truck here. :(

Pupusas are by far my favorite food. Actually, it may be the slaw that is my favorite part. I would give my left nut (if I had nuts) to live near a pupusa truck.
