Slurm: The Highly Addictive Beverage of the Future, Coming Soon

qb-slurm.jpgYour favorite soft drink of the fictitious animated future may be coming to a grocery store near you! Slurm, previously only produced on the planet Wormulon as featured in the TV show Futurama, has been trademarked in order to be used with just about every kind of beverage that isn't alcoholic. I can't wait to get my hands on a refreshing can of Slurm! [via Boing Boing Gadgets]

Hopefully this Slurm doesn't come from an alien's ass.

The visual of where Slurm came from will prevent me from wanting to try this, cartoon or not.

@DanielJ: I figure Earth's food safety regulations will prevent this from happening.

Also, the lack of giant alien worms. They don't make em here like they do on Wormulon. Thaaank god.

AHAHAHAHAHA. ;P

Also worth noting is that this isn't actually a trademark yet-- only an application has been filed, and it hasn't even been looked at yet by the US Patent and Trademark office.

Honey comes from a bee's behind. Milk comes from a cow's behind. And have you ever used toothpaste?

I really hope they make some concentrated super Slurm. It's highly addictive.
