Photo of the Day: Pasta Outbreak
This is what happens when your kitchen pukes. From Marlene Haring's art installation Heute bleibt die Küche kalt, wir gehen in den Wienerwald ("Today the kitchen remains unused; we're going to the Wienerwald). [via the new shelton wet/dry]

This artist definitely uses her noodle.
Marlene and Lisa should meet.

Isn't Wienerwald a German restaurant chain, sort of a German Chili's?

Mmm. Those words have been heard before here .
Such a slippery thing, spaghetti is. That is, when its not strong enough to poke one in the eye. Someone should write a poem.

dksbook: Nice catch! I thought the same thing when I first read that. If my college German is not as rusty as I think, I believe that's a sort of pun on the restaurant's part. The Vienna Woods vs. "Sausage Forest," which I always imagined was analogous to "Burger World" or some such.

One mother's day, my brother, sister and I made a similar kitchen statement making a surprise breakfast with everything we could find. We thought Mom's tears were of joy.
