Menu for Hope: Best Bets to Win

Each year, the Menu for Hope charity raffle brings together food bloggers worldwide in the fight against hunger. Bloggers offer prizes that readers may buy virtual raffle tickets to win, with the proceeds going to the U.N. World Food Program. This year, Serious Eats is serving as the "regional host" for the USA East Coast Region, which means we'll be bringing you periodic updates on prizes and such. This is one such update. —Adam

We're coming up on the last few days of Menu for Hope ticket-buying (ticket-buying ends on Dec. 21), and the total raised for the U.N. Food Program as I type this is $45,615. We're hoping to beat last year's $60,925.12, so we've got a ways to go yet. Lucky that there are a number of great prizes up for offer to stoke that total.

If you simply don't care about the do-gooderism aspect, allow me to frame this update in a way that will appeal to your naked self-interest. The following prizes represent overlooked gems. And some of them have yet to sell a ticket. That means you have a very good chance of winning the following items. Any one (or more) of them could be yours for the low, low price of $10.

To enter to win any one (or more) of these prizes, visit firstgiving.com/menuforhope4. (Be sure to remember the prize code for the item you want! For more on how to enter, see this how-to below.)
