dark dark the darker the better!

dark please

Dark, without a doubt. It was milk growing up until I saw the light.

Ooh baby, dark all the way.

I prefer dark chocolate.

Big fan of Dark Chocolate

I prefer Milk, the wife likes dark.

Dark chocolate for dippings things into.. because it's not overpoweringly sweet. Milk chocolate for eating by itself.. so sweet. :D

Dark, chased with minimum 2% milk, chilled.

I only eat dark chocolate. Unless there's no dark chocolate.

dark, but a really good piece of milk chocolate that just melts in your mouth really can't be beat

milk chocolate

usually dark...sometimes milk

sharffen berger rich milk

dark, no contest

Dark - its antioxidant qualities make it a healthy guilty pleasure!

another dark chocolate lover...lol

Generally dark, especially in baked goods, but I won't turn down milk chocolate!

Definitely dark, though I wouldn't kick milk chocolate out of bed.

Depends on my mood - right now biting off a hefty chunk of dark chocolate sounds mighty fine.

Dark all the way - I was a big fan even before we found out it was good for us!

I should say dark, but I always crave milk.

Dark, hands down.

Dark chocolate, though I'd never turn down an offer of milk!

dark, darker, darkest.

milk, but i love all chocolate :)

Dark, Darker, Darkerest, Deep Darkerestmostest! mmmmm Dark mmmm

Dark, without question. Some milk (I'm looking at you Hershey's) isn't even worth eating.

It's unfair ti have to choose, but it probably depends on my mood. Dark chocolate with orange is hard to beat.

dark - 70% or greater

Milk chocolate is my preference.

quality milk chocolate

Dark chocolate.

Dark...or milk...or dark... (^_^)

dark, dark, and dark!!!

Super dark! Milk free for a lactard like me. :)

Dark - yum yum

Definitely dark. Yum!

I am partial to Scharffen Berger's 45% though. ^_^ Caramelly goodness.

As a youngster I always went for milk chocolate because it is sweeter. Now that I am older I am starting to develop a taste for dark.

Dark, baby, dark!

Definitely dark

def-def-definitely dark

milk because I'm not one of those chocolate snobs.

dark for dipping--but milk for standalone fun

dark all the way

dark, except for english cadbury chocolates.. guilty love- dairymilk with shortbread..

Dark! Milk? Both! (but dark gets first dibs)

the darker, the better.

Dark Chocolate

milk. i like the sweetness

Dark, and high cacao mass milk.

Dark chocolate all the way - it's just better. And not so melty.

i love dark chocolate!

...dark chocolate, purely for health reasons....!!

I like milk the best best!

I also like to eat some milk, then dark, then come back down with milk again. Repeat that as many times as needed!

dark please

It's not gourmet, but I prefer milk.

Milk for me, though I see I am in the minority here. I love the creaminess of milk chocolate.

Dark, but not too dark.

melt in your mouth milk chocolate

So dark it makes the Neverland Ranch look like Disneyland.

Both, depending on the mood.

Dark is perfect to satisfy that inner need for chocolate. Strong and immediate, it takes care of urges and desires with the least calories possible. When there is time and relaxation mode to really spend some time eating chocolates, back and forth works best for me. Too much dark gets tedious in intensity and milk can get cloying after five or six mouthfuls so both together are very perfect for me. I don't think I could choose one over the other on a permanent basis. I can say the world would be better off without white chocolate.

I'm going to place myself in the minority and say Milk.

milk chocolate.

dark... though i won't turn down really good milk

Dark chocolate. It's the only way to go.

I'm drooling for dark now!

I love dark chocolate!

DARK. didn't mean to shout that. well, maybe I did.

Definitely Dark

Both I like dark with mint and milk with raspberry or orange

after years of not liking it, i now love dark chocolate!

Dark chocolate is by far the tastiest!

milk or dark chocolate

Milk chocolate!

Mmmm...dark chocolate :)

Dark, dark, dark.

I love both, but I'll go w/dark - feel less guilty about eating (copious amounts of) it.

Definitely dark.

it depends on my mood, but usually milk chocolate wins.

Dark chocolate all the way. The darker the better.

Give me a "D"! Give me an "ark". "Dark"!

Dark, definitely.

Dark, 24/7!

Dark...but sometimes milk.

Both! Although as I get older I'm liking darker chocolate. (I'm having the strangest sense of deja-vu .. wasn't this a question already?) But yes, my current favorite is dark -- especially 35-40% dark with chipotle chile powder .. am I alone in this?

dark

and, no, kfarrel, chile is the perfect foil to chocolate

Dark is the only way to go.

Dark, without a doubt!

Dark...though I was attempted to answer "yes"

Sometimes milk, sometimes dark. It depends on my mood.

love both. it really depends on my mood.

Dark definitely.

dark... with some red wine, or anything else really

dark but also milk but not white

I gotta go along with most people here and say Dark!!!

When I was a kid, tho, my favorite chocolate was a Milky Way bar.

dark is delicious

dark all the way

Darkest of the darkest dark.

I like dark, but I do have a soft spot for milk.

Dark...but really - am I going to be picky if it's chocolate? NO.

Yesterday I had the most intense craving for dark chocolate....I had to pick out the chunks out of the ben and jerry's cherry garcia tub!

72% cacao, baby. The dark stuff is the good stuff.

Milk Chocolate!

Milk Chocolate, but no chocolate is safe in our house.

Dark, but I'll take what I can get when I can get it.

Dark chocolate is tops, but I wouldn't scoff at milk.

It used to be milk, but now I prefer dark.

Dark, thanks!

I love dark chocolate!

Love the dark chocolate. And would love these chocolates!

Dark chocolate is a necessity for me.

dark, dark, dark

Dark chocolate.

Dark chocolate, but chocolate is chocolate...I love it all!

milk chocolate

Dark. Exceptions made for peanut butter cups.

I waffle, but right now, it's milk.

The only thing that can beat good milk chocolate is good DARK chocolate

I don't discriminate- BOTH milk and dark please!

It depends on my mood, but usually dark is my preference. Of course, more important is the actual quality of the chocolate. Hersey's Dark is nothing compared to a decent artisan milk chocolate.

Has to be dark!

Dark, all the way. It would be interesting to see a tally of the preferences.

well, dark, of course.

Dark chocolate for me please! But not super-dark, I don't want it to taste like crayons.

Dark....65% or better, melted slowly between tongue and palate and allowed to ooze under the tongue. Wow....head to my stash right now!

cv

Milk--ideally with dried fruit inside of it.

Dark, absolutely.

Dark chocolate, especially with a good, sweet stout. Delightful!

Dark. But today we made a sandwich of dark and (gasp!) white chocolate, because we miss the Panda bar made by endangered species chocolate. We hope the Panda isn't extinct. Is it?

dark is the way to go

The darker the better

If I had to choose on quality, dark. For quantity...milk. :)

Dark all the way!

It's nicer on the dark side.

dark if you please

Dark, duh

A creamy milk chocolate is my favorite - the melt in your mouth kind that has caramel undertones...... I'm all about the taste - and for me a high quality milk chocolate is just so satisfying.

Dark. Occasional milk chocolate splurge, but usually dark.

I love both, really!

It's not real chocolate if it ain't dark!

I like to switch back and forth.

Milk chocolate - yummy!

Dark, about 75%.

I prefer milk, but I never turn any chocolate down!

Dark, definitely.

Milk, but I really love it all.

Have to say it's always been milk chocolate for me . I find dark too bitter.

Wish it were dark, but it's milk.

Dark Chocolate all the way :D

Dark chocolate please!

I love both, but tend to eat dark more these days.

Another vote for dark!

dark only, please

dark, dark, dark -- kind of tastes like dirt! delicious.

I forced myself to eat dark when I was a vegan (Hershey's Special Dark from the campus store). Now that I have come to terms with the fact that I love dairy and meat, I allow myself to eat . . .

milk chocolate

mmmmmmmmm

Milk chocolate please

Dark, without a doubt.

Dark. If I want milk in my chocolate I make cocoa or pudding.

Dark, definitely!

Dark, darker and darkest.

White, i recognize it isn't really chocolate but I still like it better

Dark chocolate.

dark & bitter

definitely dark :)

I am beginning to prefer a velvety belgium milk to dark, but dark is still my favorite so far!!!

I honestly love both - I love good quality Belgian milk chocolate, but nothing can be better than real dark chocolate truffles (I prefer Belgian or French)! All right, I start thinking that what I am really saying is that I love Belgian chocolate, whether it's milk or dark:-)

Milk!

Please randomly select me!!

I know dark chocolate is better for you, but I love me some milk chocolate.

We have a winner!

And it's ... CHARMON. Someone from Serious Eats will be contacting you shortly for shipping info.
