Photo of the Day: Tuna Waffles
I forgot that such a dish of tuna salad and waffles existed—possible only in Asia—until I came across tychenyt's photo in the Serious Eats flickr pool. It may sound like a weird combination to anyone who hasn't encountered it before, but this used to be one of my favorite dishes when I lived in Taipei. Creamy tuna salad smothered into the crispy crevices of a fresh waffle...FTW!

Actually, this doesn't sound so unusual... possibly because at Roscoe's here in LA, you can get a plate of waffles with chicken salad. Not that I ever would, when you can just as easily get a fried chicken thigh with waffles and drown it in fake maple syrup. Yums.

Funny, i'm reading this and watching a commercial for Byetta, a drug that says side effects are diarrhea, nausea and vomitting! Ha!
