Bratz Popsicle: 'With Gumball Eyes'

Because we're oddly fascinated by ice pops here at Serious Eats, and in the interest of keeping you abreast of what's going on in the frozen-treat sector, we present you with this Bratz concoction:

Never before have vapid gumball eyes been more appropriate in a Popsicle context. The backside, after the jump.

Of course, this South Korean watermelon ice pop that Robyn dug up remains our favorite.

Good Lord, what is next? I cannot stand "Bratz" or anything having to do with them. But I may actually like this because I could bite their heads off! That and the popsicles don't look nearly as trampy as the dolls do.

I got one of these from the ice cream truck at the street fair in my neighborhood this summer. They taste not so good but it was briefly entertaining to me & my companion to have a pretend conversation with the Ho-in-training-on-a-stick as I slowly consumed her head & popped out the gumball eyeballs. I'm not a sadist, I swear! It was all done in the name of comedy & social justice.

Gross. My niece loves the SpongeBob popsicle mostly b/c of the (black, iirc) gumball eyes. I reaaaaaaaaaaally hope she doesn't find out about these. BLEAH!

the back view of any of this variety of popsicles is disturbing. reminds me a little of the henry darger cake...

Hey look, her lips are pink all the way through the back of her head! Gee whillikers.

Those popsicles belong in a science fiction movie. As secretly powerful yet evil beings who try to take over the world if only they could find a way to stop melting.
