Fulfill your dream (or nightmare) of standing before a towering wall of ham legs by visiting Museo del Jamón in Madrid.

Without a doubt, my favorite museum in the world.

Seriously. We went here when we were in Spain in 2001... and the place is certainly a sight, with hams hanging EVERYWHERE, swaying in the breeze.

I think there are several of these, unless I'm crazy?

Droooooooling.

Aww... this picture reminds me of when I lived in Spain last year... how i miss tortilla espanola, paella, queso de manchego, and really good sangria.... anyone here like calimochos by the way?

mmmm...jamón...sooo good!

I studied in Spain a few years ago and my homestay mother made the best tortilla espanola and tortillas de bacalao.

Oh, and the chocolate, and by "chocolate" I mean the Spanish hot chocolate so thick you can eat it with a spoon. *drool*
