Photo of the Day: Little Dumpling
If real dumplings were as cute as One Square Tree's felt dumpling, I'd have a lot more trouble eating them. I wouldn't stop eating them, of course—they're too delicious. And maybe they don't even mind being devoured by humans; the dumpling looks quite content even as it placidly stares into the soy sauce and chopsticks that will play into its demise. Thank you so much for featuring our Little Dumpling! We are delighted to know that you have as much fun looking at him as we had in conceptualizing and creating him.
We hope you continue to check out our photos as we plan to continue to add similar characters on a weekly basis!
Happy eating!
Cheers,
melanie & jason.

This reminds me of the jar of pickled 'bums' my mom had on her shelf growing up. Did anyone else have this? It was a nice preserve jar, normal in most ways, but it had been filled with little hand sewn 'bums' - it was quite in a country tacky kind of way! (this little dumpling is cute in an everything type of way)

My wife's favorite appetizer at Japanese restaurants is gyoza (these little dumplings), so I had to order one of them from one square tree to put on her desk :-)
