'Veronica Mars' Bars
More TV-related food news for you: Fans of the CW network show Veronica Mars have been sending Mars candy bars to Dawn Ostroff, CW's president of entertainment, as a form of protest that the show has been canceled.
It's similar to the Nuts for Jericho fan campaign that had devotees of that show sending massive amounts of nuts to CBS.
Makes me wonder what fans would send to the networks if the following shows were ever threatened:
- The Office: Herr's potato chips
- Ugly Betty: Bagels
- Lost: Dharma fish biscuits
- Battlestar Galactica: That fungus they had to mine on that one planet for the food-manufacturing machine
- Simpsons: Doughnuts
Or these already departed classics:
- Seinfeld: Cereal. Or marble rye. Or Kenny Rogers Roasters chicken. Or ...
- I Love Lucy: Chocolates
- The Cosby Show: Jell-O
- The Brady Bunch: Pork chops and apple sauce
