OMG!!! I'm in heaven. But, I don't think I could not eat the bacon long enough to form the mat. Maybe you weave it before cooking?

Oh yes, you weave the bacon while raw. And when it cooks it shrinks a bit and holds its shape to form the WONDEROUS BACON MAT.

Two guys stranded on a desert island. One walks up to the top of the hill
and screams in delight, and runs down the other side. An hour later he

Back to the topic at hand. That bacon mat would make a tomato and avocado sandwich worth dying for! I can't wait for my tomatoes to get ripe so I can try it!
