Tasting Rachael Ray

rachelraytasting.jpg Tasting Rachael Ray by Naomi Lebowitz is a video composed of Ray's money shots after tasting something on her Food Network show $40 A Day. Lebowitz used clips from more than 30 episodes of the show to make the video, which is a fun watch whether you love or hate Rachael Ray.

"Mmmm"!? What about "yummo"?

You can tell when she really loves the food by the eyebrows. I found this very funny.

Is this some horrible Windows-olny format? Do people who like food only use Windows?

I'm not even sure what to do with this...but yet I watched the whole thing.

t Lou: The format plays fine with Quicktime on both Mac and PC platforms for me. Can't speak for Linux.

[insert obligatory, mean Rachel Ray comment here]

I know I'm really, really alone on this, but I find her adorable. Of course, I never watch her shows, but ...

Anyone who really enjoys cooking and eating, and makes the general public feel less self-conscious about fine dining is probably doing a service. The fact that she's growing obscenely wealthy as a result doesn't concern me.

Better idea on paper than it actually turned out. I'm no Ray fan and was hoping for something really entertaining. Meh. I hate to think how much time went in to something so blah.

@corycm

Thanks for the hint! I am a Linux user, and I was able to find the Quicktime player.

As to RR, she's Escoffier compared to Sandra Lee. (I didn't want to make an obligatory, mean RR comment.)

I'm with Hungover Gourmet. I would like to see outtakes where the food isn't so "mmmmm"worthy. Or anything after the cuts while the camera's still rolling. I'm sure they exist. I've heard she's a bitch to work with therefore somebody out there must want to show the world she isn't so "adorable!"

Ditto for Sandra Lee. Can't stand either one of them.
